Witha little trem or vibrato on the vox & you'd be approaching David Surkampf.
I love the fact that the snare doesn't sound like an explosion of 15 chained effects.
Needs more lyrics, keep that melody happening?

A love foretold....not yet fulfilled.

I want to give Choctaw credit and a hug, for first laying down the keys and vocal tracks 7 months ago. Rami a hug for laying down a drumtrack that gives it a heartbeat,inspiring me to add bass. Hugs to Ed for his simple, yet filling, steady bassline that led me to Gorty, who fanned the flames with his sweet finger-work on the lead guitar. Whom also did the mix down on the tracks. A hug for you Kev....My heart is happy, even if my brain hurts!....I Love you guys, True

Thank you rayc! That is a compliment about Pavlavs' Dogs lead singer, though I can't sing nearly as high as that dude!!

Yes, it is a short tune.

Maybe some things are best left short and sweet! It may be your last opportunity to have a woman say/sing so little. :D :D :D

I liked it, the vocals were strong and i can sense a hell of a lot emotion in them. Very nice, I agree with it being quite short, but it's a good thing i think.

Nice track :)
 
Hey True! Finally get to hear this. Everyone did a great job on it, but it's your voice that really makes this song. The emotion and feeling is great.


(By the way, my drum track isn't lined up quite right...It seems as though the band starts playing on my second bar and now all my rolls are somewhere in the middle of nowhere...just a slight nit a noticed)

Now that you mentioned it, I went back and listened, and I hear what you mean. I never noticed before.....I think that can be easily fixed. Who put the drums in?

That's a killer voice True, you should be recording more. Love the outro sounds too. I always love songs were you can tell there's a lot of emotion going.
It leaves you wanting more... so "replay"

Quality job on all accounts. The one thing I might change is the keyboard sound. The playing is fine, it just needs to cut through more and perhaps needs more high end to blend with the other instruments. Me likey :cool:
 
I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the drum track allignment. It might not be that the band started on a different bar. It might be that the band's "3" is my "1"...or something. It just sounds like the beat is inverted somehow, and those fills really sound weird where they are.

Could it be the drums got nudged by one count, and are starting later than how you intended?

I hear what you are saying David. I just listened to her first take on this, and teh piano is much brighter. I think with us passing an Mp3 around, we killed some of the piano. It should probably be remixed with all the seperate tracks, instead of built on how it is. It would give a chance to make room for all the sounds. Now True has another project.... :D

Maybe something along those lines. Though it can't be one count or else the snare and kik would be reversed and that would be impossible to listen to. It could be 2 counts though.

Anyway, I don't want to take attention away from the tune. It's just something I noticed.

Great drumming from Ramster, bluesy and cool from the President, Bricktight by Dogman, and a Shirly bassey Blues vox from true.

I love colabs, and this was very cool, get the drums on the 1 and you have a rawker :)

Thank you Rami, you are always supportive and positive to me........BUT.....

You know as well as I, that the song is a song, because of all the players. And you guys made it that, even in its meager length! I am very thrilled with it.

The drums were added to the vocals before Dog and Gorty received the files, so I will check it out. :)
