you might have heard the demo of this one,
i've been trying to wrap it up,
this is real close, i think.

i wrote this one, using the drum track from the rolling stones' "tumblin' dice" as a template.
if you stripped off all the music and played along with the drums,
you could nail tumblin' dice! LOL
it was just an experiment.

I think you should up the tempo on this a bit.

Great VOX!

I named my old truck Jezebel :)

thanks for listening, japov, i appreciate it.

the tempo is set, it's very closely matched to the song i used as the pattern for the drums. it's supposed to be more groovy than driving. kinda back beat.

in this case, jezebel is that guitar that kept me going for so long! LOL
good name for a truck, tho.
as long as it doesn't leave you stranded.

Yeah , drums have that Stones swagger for sure! This one a little straighter rock vibe then some of the guitar shredding stuff I've heard from you, and I really dig it! IMO bass is in a great place and really grooves this song. Guitars are frigging awesome as usual (slide great!!), and I really like your vocal! Great jam!!!!!

alright stratmonkee!
thanks so much for listening

yea, straighter vibe. i need stuff like this to balance out my more progressive stuff.
bass is kinda strong, but bass in songs like this style usually are...
the vox was the hardest part to nail,
the guitars were too easy! LOL
i spent more time on the tone of the guitars, than actually playing the part.
