Finding better speakers for my pa

I got a Art 2408 mixer
A peavey 8.5c power amp
Into two 12 inc genz Benz 160 rms 8 ohm

I'm looking to upgrade my speakers. I wanna get the most from my POwer amp and some load ass speakers.
Price rand maybe 240-260 bucks each. Thanks guys

Aside from the obvious tone and quality considerations, how loud and (maybe more important) how deep?
The jump from enough for vocals and some instruments to kick and bass is fairly significant.

You're not going to find much new in that price range. here's the Peavey's

Best bet is to scout the used section of your local big music store (Guitar Center online will let you look further abroad. Once you find something within your price range, look online for reviews of that model, and then audition the speakers, if they are close by - ask to hear them at the store.
