Finally Recovered and getting new gear

As some of you know; I had to sell my guitar rig in order to keep my family afloat financially. We filed our taxes and after starting a sizeable savings account and doing some other family-oriented stuff I will be getting a bigger/better rig. I'm so excited I want to share what I'll be doing.

I'm getting a new Fender Telecaster. It's MIM but really gorgeous ashwood. I'll be running that into a Big Muff PI to an Egnater Tweaker combo. Rocktron Hush pedal > EXH Deluxe Mem. Boy > EHX Holy Grail Nano in the loop. Simple? YUP. But I'm 100% sure that it is going to rock! I live in the middle of no-where so "try before you buy" is not really an option. But I've done enough research that I'm really confident in my set-up.

So there you have it. My little bragging moment. Feel free to tell me what could be better my rig. Oh, btw, when I play live it's mostly church stuff so I don't need 100w. The drummer plays an e-kit so I'm not concerned with need the extra volume. And it has a master volume on the amp so recording will be doable as well. So. there you have it. that's a LOT of gear for a recovering broke fellow. Why not just the clean tele into a decent amp? Your financial recovery package is more than my ride the GFC collection in terms of cost.
Good luck with it - I hope no one considers using the Holy Grail in church sacriligeous!

It is a decent amount of gear, true. But I was blessed with a sizeable return and I am paying off several bills, starting a large savings account, and donating to some causes. The "holy grail" thing was funny!

I will. I'm excited about that since there are surprisingly few good audio demos of that amp.

Thanks man. I've seen most of them but there are one or two new ones. What I meant was that MOST of the demos are just video camera mics. I think I'm going to do a decent recording of a few settings (when I get it all) and put them up. I'm pretty stoked!!!
