Good, solid work, Track Rat. I just wish for a little more 'snap' in the snare, but that's my personal preference. The brass fits in very well. Good guitars, solid bass.

It's also good songwriting.

Cheers.

I can not find one thing wrong with this song..

Good tune, good vibe, good production, good sound...

Your rock dude.

nice track, track rat.

I dig the balance that you've got going.

THe only things I dont really like are the vocal and the space.

Funk on!

Thanks gentlemen. I really appriciate that.

Opps, sorry........it just slipped out.....

Track Rat.

Very catchy tune. It had me singing along on the first listen. Dug the git work and overall mood.

Nice work!

Hey trackster ratser...

nice slide work...and you make the two chord combo sound nice. I always liked bari saxes!! I'd take a little less processing on your vocal track...bring it up front and center. At 2:23, your bridge/interlude/solo takes on some great *depth*. good use of verb there. Sounds good on the gerbals (jbls) and even better on the 7506's. Oh...and I'd ditch the hh countoff...or replace it with sticks...or even "blind owl" on bass, countin' it off;) You got the wall of sound going. Does your other stuff end up sounding this thick?

Thanks mixmkr. I know what you mean about processing on the vox. The singer was a little insecure about his voice and insisted on painting over it with FX. I prefer them dryer and more up front. I appriciate the comments on slide. I don't play it much and don't feel I do it very well. I DO kind of like the "wall of sound" approach. I always dug Phill Spectors sound. I'll have to get me some dark sunglasses. Maybe that'll help.

Great job Track Rat! You are a fine guitar player, and the singer has nice vocals. Everything seemed well placed to me and very smooth. Impressive!!

TrackRat, I HATE YOU!!!! That's right! I'm playa' hatin!!!

THAT was great!! Vocals; clean, clear precise with a nice dab
of 'verb ( and what I thought was a slight delay that enhanced
the chorus),Git and bass...mmmmmm smooth as a mutha'f#cka'!!
Maybe a bit of panning on the kit with the splashcym and snare
but sharing opposite directions, but that's minor!
Recording levels was d@mn near poi-fect,the jammy was phat...
...........d@mn home-boy, that was most excellent!
I HAtE YOU!!!!

That rates a 2 Black Power fists up and a bottle of Moet!!!

Great job. Excellent.

I think you have some real commercial/pro-level talent, there.

This is an all around great song, songwise and stylewise. It's about as commercial-quality as it gets, without actually being on the radio.

Excellent piece of work there TR!

*two thumbs up* (3, if you count the icon above!!!) ;)

WOW!!
