If they're playing with Psyopus, they had better be really really good.

EDIT : Listened, and I'm a fan of pretty much everything but the vocals. It sounds like everything is pretty solid and then the vocals come in and all I can think of is a southern metal band (though, that's probably what they're going for). Anyway, it's pretty good stuff. Nice mix too.

Sounds good but I am on work 1inch computer speakers. I will give it a more critical listen when I am at home tonight.

the delay between the guitar in the left and right is a little odd
actually in the beginning it's kinda a neat effect
but after that it gets old
i really like the kit sound
hows that kik done??
maby i'd mix the vox down just a little

but thats just me

listened to "circus." I think it's a good mix man. I like what you did with the "harmony" guitar parts starting at about the 1:00 mark a lot...sounds like a super narrow EQ boost in there somewhere, but it doesn't bug me too much. May be a touch loud, but like I said, I like the part. I'm getting some digital overs, but I can't hear it clipping.

Yeah good stuff man. Guitars are nice. Not too sure if kik is too clicky, something about it at the fast intense burst part. Guitars are a little loud at times.
Nice though.

we spent alot of time tuning the kick. I didnt do much EQ to it, just increase around 7 khz and boosted around 50 to give it that kick you in the chest feel.

All fairly well done cept the guitars. They sound pretty thin at first. Sounds like you cut way too much of something out of them (lower mids). Then at 1:57 it's a totally different sound. At that point, they're muddy and undefined (probably those low mids you cut). Then the hollow one's come back in around 3:30. And then there's the finger squeeeeeeeeeeeeks that are almost unbearable.

I assure you they are the same guitars. I guess it was the riffage.

I cut around 100 hz to remove all the muddy ness. I am not at home, so I can't post my exact EQ.

I have an issue mixing guitar. I'm a drummer, so usually my drum sounds are good, but I still need to develop an ear for guitar. The recording was done around 6 months ago at my old establishment. Without the equipment that I have now. So, my new mixes sound alot better, IMO.

Here is a recent recording I've done.

You tell me if I've gotten better @ guitar.

On second listen, the bass guitar is pretty anemic. Not very consistant. Could be the player, the bass or both (likely). The lower notes have a tendancy to POP!!! out, while the higher ones are barely audible.

That's what happens when you have a player that isn't constant with his picking. If I would to have compressed it all, it would have been squished to bits. Most of the bands that I record have 1 member that takes em down a peg or 2.

I'm well aware of the inconsistant nature of alot of the bass players. That doesn't mean you should just say, "Oh well not my fault". Maybe you could try a multiband compressor and tame the low end a little better.

I just realized that this project is already completed, NO?"
