There are 2 versions on the website, but this new one is the only one with the download functions....

Im waiting to figure out how to erase the old one... in the meantime I just took away all the D-Load buttons so it can't be mistaken for the new one

Thanks for the input on my mix... I incorporated a few of the Ideas into the final mix...

(Well I suppose nothing is really final... but this might be close!)

That's pretty damn good Joe! From an arrangement point of view, I thought it needed something (not sure what, though!) deep and low in there... almost like a Peter Gabriel-type ethnic instrument sound....

Also, towards the end, there was some sound happening that sort went out of time...

Other than that, I thought it was very good!

What was the minute/seconds counting where the time was off.... and what type of sound are we talking about...

Now you got me curious...I listened a few minutes ago, and can't hear it...

I did this all with my Digi 001... No console, mixed on screen... no outboard Pre's.... I didn't even use my 4033 for the Vox.... I just used the sm57.....

Cymbals and hats are an Audix D-2....

Starting at 3:14 and very noticeable until about 3:25 .... kind of a "thok" "thok" sound, but distractingly syncopated.... it may be there intentionally I just find it interferes too much with the rhythm........ just a minor quibble really - amounts to personal preference, 'cos in actuality, upon listening again, it's not "wrong"!

Bruce...

I think what you are hearing is the intro distorted Hi-hat beat, from the very beginning of the song which is underneath the outro also....

It actually isn't out of time, but I know what you mean and that there are some distorted Hi Hat hits that could be called offbeat..... The timing is actually correct.. (Everything is locked in together and quantized)........................ It's just that some hits stray of the regular song rythm.... I wanted the intro beat to re-introduce itself and finish the song off... underneath the outro..

At odd times in the day, this song will occasionally find itself running through my head. :)

I like the new mix all around- I'm happy to be able to hear the vocals a bit more.

Joe... just go with the Jamaican spelling/pronounciation and you can't go wrong! (Riddem...) ;)

When I listened again, you're right - it's not out of time, but I just found it was fighting with the Riddem in some spots......... as I said though - minor quibble!

You can use that shorturl link anywhere you wish, or the original long one. All new address are 'short' linked though, not the old long draw out /artists/genre/username/ stuff.

Just just that address here, and when telling people to check out your whole 'site' with bio etc, send them to your main page.
