Hi again,

I've posted here today one mp3, and i thought i might post some else. First:

final cut

With this one i had small problems with drums. Because of these guitars which sound i like, but there are problems with clarity.... so you can write what's your opinions to improve this mix.

Second: rrrRRRrrr

This is rather simple song, with added distorted bass to get that rrrrrrrr sound;)

Have a nice listening!

I actually prefer the drums on the first one, mainly because they sound more "cohesive" with the guitars and bass. In the second the drums sound like they are in another room from the guitars. Less of a Altogether sort of soundscape. Overall though, pretty good. Maybe try and brighten the guitars up a bit and move them more into the foreground.

Yeah, I put pretty much reverb on drums in rrrRRRrrr, because i wanted them to be, somehow, 'bigger' and on the first plane, cause myself also prefer drums on the first plane...it's just it isn't always as easy when there are guitars and guitarists to satisfy, too ;)

I'd like to quote gummblefish and multiply it by 4.
Esp about brightening things a little. Good riff & playing in final cut.
On RRR the drums do sound odd. The rhythm guitar & bass stomp all over each other EQ them away by adding some tops to the bass & removing some bottom from the guitar..

And i like the drums sound in rrr....maybe i dont hear this sound so odd, cause i've mixed this on crap cheap headphones...lacking better equipment... :(

I vastly prefer the drum sound in final cut. Maybe a different reverb?

Cool songs. I'd like to hear the bass a little better.

Final Cut - The cymbals sound too sizzley. Maybe tone down the high EQ on that, otherwise OK.

Thanks for the input!

As for the bass, i had difficulties to record it as i wish to. I was recording through microphone, and DI but it's weak :(

And maybe I'll find a better way for the drums in rrrRRRrrr:)

Thanks to you all, maybe I'll learn much from you, and soon come with better mixes:)
