Im dedicated to restoration from oldies tapes and vinylos.
Im using Audiophile card 2496 and other gear, but my problem is how store a lot of material that I got.
forgett about mp3, the quality loss amount is not permissible, otherwise, the natives compression systems from sound forge or wavelab does'nt work like I expect from them.
so what I can do?
I found sound best results in 24 bit resolution , but the file size is increasing dramatically.
please help me

back-up as wav on CD-R doesn't give you that much space, but isn't that expensive. You'll get a hughe CD-R collection though.

Otherwise, Hard drives aren't that exensive any more nowadays, are they?

hard disk are not reliable enough

thanks, dudes for your comments.
I think HD are not reliables.
what about the massive crash down?
once I had suffered that situation and almost lose all my work, but the advice about dvd sound better.
I ll try but now the DVD support is not a cheap solution.
thanks again
