fiberglass->movable screens, john?!

Hello,
I'm trying to build movable acoustic screens from the plan that john made.
according to the plan I need 2 boards, 3" (ca. 7.5cm) thick each of rigid fiberglass.
rigid-fiberglass comes here only in 2 or 3 cm thickness, should I use the 3cm boards or use ,let's say, 4 layer of the 2cm boards?How to attach layers (glue, screws,nails)?

If you can't get Rigid Fibreglass use Rockwool (mineral Wool) or as you suggested use multiple layers of what you've got. You can glue it together with standard adhesives.
