Ok, I have this idea.

Would this work.

I would build a wooden frame, as Fredric stated, staple some cloth on one side. Stuff the inside with fiberglass, then close the other side with cloth. Would this be good to treat a bad empty room? I was thinking of making some for my control room. Also, I was thinking of putting some acoustic foam over that for more effectiveness, or is that a bad idea?

Anyway, if this is good, then it would be my 1st DIY project.

Where could I get some good fiberglass from? Preferably mail order.

Yes, it will work. You'll need enough of them in the right places, including corners.

You won't accomplish much--it won't do anything that fiberglass doesn't do, and it's more expensive.
