I know this is a bit late, but just got it mixed. Hey the holiday season isn't over yet! Kind of a retro sounding remake, coulnd't find anyone to sing so I tried myself so go easy on the vocals!

Any comments on the mix very appreciated!

Hmm, not even 1 comment before it disappears into obscurity on page 18? :D

It was realy nice. I do not know what else to say.
Right now I do listen on tiny PC speakers and can not hear everything nicely but it still sound clear nice and happy!
That's how X-Mas songs should sound!
Keep doing it

see you!

I don't know if I have the clout or experience to use this term, but radio-ready, not even an inkling of a doubt. Aside from the beautiful production, this is one of the best renditions I have heard of this song. Class all the way, man.
I have to ask about the guitar and amp. Please don't say POD. If so, I guess technology has come a way. Guitar sounded Fenderish, minus the obvious tremolo slights towards the end I would say it has some Tele sound to it, but may be the amp. Of course some of the good teles in bridge position I have trouble distinguishing between a good humbucker.
Anyway, please let me know. I'm on the edge of my seat.
Professional all the way!

The Rhythm guitar was an Ibanez Artcore with TV Jones pickups. The lead fills and main lead was - you guessed it, a Tele! (Squire) ..on the bridge pickup.

And finally.. the amp used was...

(go to commercial)

the amp used was.... software! It was the Guitar Rig 2 plugin, in Cubase. It was a virtual Fender amp though, so you were close! I have a real tube amp and lots of analog effects, and I hate Pods too, but for recording lately I use Guitar Rig cause it sounds sooo good!

Thanks for your comments!

Damned cyber imitations of Fender amps. Oh well, I kind of had the feeling, but in all honesty it sounded great...strike one against a purist like me. Sounded damn good, actually. Never would have guessed the Ibanez, but I thought I heard the Tele in there!
Again, FIRST CLASS RECORDING!

Is that pig latin??
Sorry it was written way too fast. I'll correct it.

By the way, I was listening your song few more times on better speakers.
Nice. Really!
I would never have guessed those instruments and equipment, I admit.

I have fender Stratocaster standard from 2001 and one Squier Strat.
Somehow some Squier guitars went out pretty well

How do you pronounce SQUIER?
Does it rime with choir?

Ok sorry! Thought you were saying I sounded like some blues guy named "Hoe Mas Soul" or something! :D

Yes, Squire rhymes with choir. Like... a snake saying "choir"... :D

Would you listen (and comment) my song?
What about helping me out? We are going to record it in January.
