Fernadez guitars

anyone familar with fernandez guitars (fernandes??)

specifically the ones with the sustainer thing....does it sound like an ebow or something??

i remeber playing a Fernandes guitar way back in the 80's and it was a nice guitar....seems like a whole different animal now....

The Edge of U2 owns at least three of these. He basically uses them to replace the use of an EBow on with or without you.

I've got an early '90s Fernandes bass that I've been treated very well by.

I've heard that the built the late '80s early '90s MIJ Fenders, which are known for good quality.

I have a 1980's Fernandez Strat copy. If it didn't say Fernandez on the headstock, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It even has those old slot tuning pegs that are a pain in the ass to string. Great neck though!

they make decent guitars, basically when you flick on the sustain, it will hold a note indef.

the strat and tele copies about 7-8 yrs ago were nice
