What's up with the Mullard re-issue???
Garbage...and at $25 a pop, GT should be ashamed. The original Mullard was reknown for its beautiful midrange and harmonic detail. The GT doesn't even come close. I can't speak to its longetivity, but as far as sound was concerned, I would take the JAN-Phillips 12AX7 or the Sylvania 12AX7s of the 80's over these any day, and twice on Sunday. You can pick both of those tubes up for less than the GT.
GT was expecting (and got) people who don't know better to go "ga-ga" over the Mullard name. Anyone with experience with a true Mullard laughs at this tube.
