Fender D-2 Mic???????

I think I bought it back in the late 70's or early 80's and been meaning to ask this forum.........have any of you ever heard of a Fender D-2 mic? It's a dynamic. Don't know much more about it but I've searched the web and can find nothing. It's not working now. As I recall I got it at GC in L.A.

Here's couple pics for you. It says Made In Japan and has a serial number on the blue band near the xlr plug. Anyone ever see one of these or know much about it?

Wow........1,236 views and no one has ever seen one of these except me? A Fender D2 dynamic. I went on the Fender website and got lost trying to figure out how to just ask a question about a Fender mic. There's zero references to any Fender Mic products. This used be be an excellent vocal mic....much like a Shure SM58....but something happened to it and now the sound is very tinny......as if the diaphragm has something on it. One day I'd like to restore it. Have no idea where to get that done.
