fender bought off jackson a couple months ago i believe. now i ordered a USA made DXMG jackson BEFORE this, and the guitar is plainly beautiful... the sound is unlike anything ive heard, comes close to that of a 4000 studio les paul. now ive become devoted to jackson, but what happens now? i just wanted to get ur opinion on whether jackson will become even better of an instrument, or drop down in quality?

as with most of the newer guitars you can play 10 of the same exact guitar like the jackson you gott and you may only find one decent one, every since jackson sold out to overseas companys there guitars went down hill in my opinion. there prices dropped alot compares to like a san dimas guitar like the one i have, but the quality also dropped. since fender bought them out they will probably be made in the same factory as the rest of the overseas guitars. pretty much all overseas guitars are made by one company, like the squiers are probaly made in the same plant as the jacksons, esp, i dont think it will help them out any because most of the newer fender arnt that great either, but like i said you gott lucky if it plays as good as you say it does. you gott one of the very few. but hey if you like it and it sounds good then thats a good buy on your part, i know i love my sandimas made jackson and will never part with it. but it also sold new for 1800 bucks. now you can buy a new jackson for about 400-450 for there supposebly better ones. anyway i hope you enjoy your new jackson, i know i love my old one and have looked at the new ones when i bought my ibanez rg 570 and just couldnt find one that felt wright, heck i went through 9 rg 570s at guitar center before i found the one i bought and its a far cry from my jackson but at least i can put my jackson up now and save it.
