Hey guys,

my name is Peter from Germany and it is one of my hobbies to make some music with electronic equipment. I started reading this forum and found it quite informative.

Therefore I would like to ask you for a feedback on a track I have produced. Normally my tracks are without any singing, but in this track I used vocals by a professional singer first time. Since I am not experienced mixing vocals I'd like to ask for some critics and hints regarding the mix of the song.

Hints regarding arrangement and composition are welcomed as well!

Thank you very much!

I think the vocal sits perfectly. It's audible without being too overpowering, it's not harsh, it's not lost in reverb...perfectly competent vocal mix. My ears aren't what they used to be...I almost want the harmony vocal parts louder, but then again, this is not really my genre.

The only other comment I have relates to the fake kick...I want it to thump a little bit more. Not much. I can hear it, I just can't really feel the low end.

Hey.... I would say the lead vocal needs a desser....other than that the mix sounds good. Not my genre, though

... thanks for the feedback, sounds not that bad actually!

I agree regarding the problem with kick. honestly, I don't like the whole drum track in the chorus, in my point of view it doesn't fit to the rest of the music, therefore I have already started to change it. I will check how I can put a little bit more low end into the kick.

There is a desser already on the lead vocal, maybe I have to adjust, because there are some (not many) sharp "ssss".

Thanks for the advices, more advices are welcome!

Nice song and arrangement, good voice. I like it. To me the string pad synth is competing with the vocal. I would want to turn it down during the sung parts, or notch out some frequency space.

I thought it sounded pretty good.

The vocal has a whole bunch of hyped high end. That should be addressed.

Other than that, it sounded OK.
