Littleguy, don't know if I'd suggest changing anything. The distorted guitar is a bit low in the mix, but that is just my opinion, and it doesn't hurt the song a bit. Just something I might try. And don't do anything anyone suggests, unless you think it will improve upon the song. Those vocals carry the song, and messing with the music could change the dynamics enough to ruin it.

Good tune..

Very nice indeed...i think the electric just killed the feel...was really digging it until that electric came in....but the mix sounds very crisp and clean.Nice!!
Perhaps maybe a little background lead in @ 2:53..like ya's did @ 4:14!

But im no expert :p

maybe i am too quick to make changes, the thing is i'm just not afraid of screwing up. i know that if i do mess up i have another copy of the mix on my computer. i never change without having a back up. i just want to get as good as i can be at mixing and recording that i'll try just about any suggestion, atleast by trying i'll know what works and what doesn't.

i'm always greatful for the suggestions.

Saving a copy, smartest thing in the world. I've screwed stuff up, without saving a copy first. My bad. With a copy, you can do whatever, and see if any of this advice sounds good to you. You are the one that has to ultimitely be happy with the song. It can always use more tweaking as you learn more, but eventually, you need to leave it, and move on to the next song, as you have already captured a great sound. The rest is just some polishing, and won't make a big difference.

dogman, thanks a bunch, you've been really helpful. the funny thing is the song u listened to sounds nothing like it did when i originally wrote it. hahaha that always seems to happen
