FD-8 question

I recently got an FD-8 with a zip 100. I was wondering if I could mix in one the playback modes or something.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but you can use the mixing board during playback only if you are in the "L/R" mode (not Monitor). Then you have to have all the tracks you want 1) turned on, and 2) sliders up where you need them. That's when you can change EQ settings.

The "Monitor" mode only has two controls, a volume and a balance.
