Fastest Guitar!

Junior Brown tele-steel special. The fastest guitar player period And I've seen a few, Mclaughin, dimeola, beck, eddie, page, paco and SRV. The only one that comes close is Roy Clark yes Roy "fricken" Clark.

theres more to it (speed)than just the neck,but i agree on most everybody ,Jacksons are the fastest guitar necks,i´ve tryed one or two but ,but wouldn´t stay with it for long...you wont be able to play with any other guitar if you get use to it,all other guitars will become impossibly dificult to play after that...
 
Barefoot, you still build guitars? I'm looking for a builder in the Bay Area...

No, sorry charger. I got into building speakers then slowly dropped it. A couple of years ago I played around with some pickup designs, but that's about it.

Have you looked around much? I wouldn't doubt if there aren't many guitar builders in the Bay Area. It's a poor man's craft and this is one of the most expensive places on the planet.

Yeah. there's always Torres, they do nice work, but they're a bit pricey...

Yeah. Gotta live wide thin necks with a relatively flat radius. Just great for shredding.

Funny though that when I pick up my Strat, I still can blaze away. And it has a thinner neck with more curvature.

One axe I cannot shred on is one of those Les Pauls with the club for a neck. Ever try the Joe Perry model? I can barely wrap my fingers around it.
