Far awayness going from boss 864 to comp.

well i mean i could do a stereo mixdown on my boss, i just havent done that really in a while because then i have no way of getting it onto my computer. but i can try just doing that and attaching my machine to an external cd burner that my friend has.

and yea i might be able to try a stereo line into my comp. directly. ill see what works.

thanks for your help, ill post again when i get some stuff demoed and put onto my computer, hopefully with better results.

Hey. Of course you can mix to stereo on the BR-864. That's what it's for.

Mix (bounce) to stereo on a virtual pair of tracks on 7-8. Then upload the stereo wav file in the same manner as you would a mono track (just select the 7/8v* track that the stereo mix is on.)

was built and mixed entirely on a BR-864 without any input from the computer whatsoever (other than uploading the finished version and converting to mp3). I now have a BR1200 and do exactly the same thing -- with more tracks. Although for some reason the BR-864 programmed drums on that song sound way better than anything I have been able to come up with on the 1200 since!
