Fan and Hard Drive noise

My speakers are picking up noise from hard drive spinning,Cd Rom Spin, Fan Noise. How do you get rid of it? It doesnt get recorded.
Ex: When the CD Ro Spins yiu can here the high pitch whining thru the speakers.
It happens on my powered monitors and my mixing power amp ( 2 seperate audio monintoring set ups)

Here are a couple of options -

1) Since it is not being recorded, just live with it.

2) Move the speakers father away from the computer

3) Make sure the amp that powers the monitor is on a different plug than the computer, or better yet on a different circuit.

4) Try using a ground eliminator

5) Replace your speakers with ones shielded from magnetic interferance.


Thats all I can think of at the moment....
