fairchild or 1176LN

HEY I got a bonus at work and I am going to buy the project pack.

I'll get an LA2A for free, and a $50 discount that I'll use toward a Pultec Pro. That leaves me with enough bonus to buy another plugin. I need another compressor for whatever (guitar, vocals, bass, drums, all other recorded sounds), so 1176 or fairchild. Which one should I get

Keep in mind I am very stupid and can't make decisions on my own or think for myself, so give me "the answer."

If I recorded & tracked more, I'll bet I'd use 1176's 10 to 1 over the Fairchilds (Fairchildren?). I know the last project I mixed (almost totally with UAD plugs) I didn't use a single instance of the Fairchild.
 
buy the older mackie of the UAD1 used on ebay. not only will you get it for like $300, but you will get the 1176LN for free with that, then you will have alot more money to spend on the plate reverb on fairchild.

Hmm, seems like a good idea. There is one on ebay right now that says it comes with the LA2A and the 1176LN, which means all I would have to buy after that is the Pultec Pro. This comes to a grand total of $370, but I think the auction will go higher than $300. I hope you are right MAN
