cuz i need some help..

i made a simple song and trying to make the intrumental part with fruity loops 3.56

i have made a pattern with piano rolls on one channel..

when i play the pattern, the pattern repeats itself and the piano roll keeps playing what it's supposed to,

but when i arrange the patterns and play it as a song,

the piano roll of the pattern stops in the middle because the pattern has already been played..

it takes my pattern repeat 4 times to play the whole piano roll..

so.. anyone who's familiar with fruity loops and anyone who can understand my horrible english..

please help~!

Yeah, it's probably because your pattern goes over the length of the measure. When you're in piano roll, you can extend patterns on indefinately, but you have to watch to make sure they're going to line up right when you start looping.

All you need to do is make a copy just of the drums (patterns, not piano rolls) and paste them as pattern # 2 or the next one you have available. Then in your "song" window put first your first pattern (the one with piano rolls) and then tell it to play your second (copied with no piano rolls) pattern until the lenght you need.

i tried that..

but the piano roll stops when that pattern's over..

HELP!!

When you make the other pattern (the copy) you must have those tracks empty. For example, if you use piano rolls for the bass and keyboards, in the copied pattern there must be NO PIANO ROLLS for that tracks (only the buttons for normal drums).

In orther to do that, you've gotta copy only the tracks that have no piano rolls.

I hope I make myself clear and that it works.

Luck!!

yes! yes!~

it works!

thanks! thanks! thanks!!!!!!

umhahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
