Fade to Black

Nothing eh? Well I'd like comments on the mix even if you don't like the song.
 
i was looking for Metallica syle ("fade to black" song).

Let me see... Mamas and the papas with some Midnight Oil, a little of Paul McCartney, and a lot of 60's on the dressing. Desert, let's say...you.

But the mix:cool:, very cool!!!!
 
I noticed a few pitchy parts on the guitars. That and I think it's very reverby, but I tend to mix on the low reverb side, so if that's what you are going for, then there's nothing wrong with it.

One more thing. It's pretty hard to get good sounding brass with virtual instruments. It's possible, it just takes a bit of tweaking.

I'm not sure if this helps in your situation, or if you're even using GPO, but this little tutorial has some good tips for getting good brass sounds.
