I have been playing about with fade ins/outs on Nuendo and ive noticed when I create a small fade at the end of a track (when editing) I get a click when I play the edit back.

I know that if I hear a click it means that the wave has not reached 0 at the end of the wave. Is theere any settings I should be looking into to combat this problem?

I am using the selector tool then going to "audio" "process" "fade".

Thanks.

Instead of processing the audio you might wanna try this method and see if it works any better. On the top line of each audio clip there is three dots you can manipulate with your mouse. The first is a fade in, the second is overall amplitude and the last is a fade out. Try bringing these outer dots closer to the center to fade your audio in/out (similar to sliding a fader down at the end of some audio). And since these are non-destructive edits they will not ruin your audio.

Awsome.
I totally forgot about those things. Cheers.
Just so used to Pro Tools im finding it hard to get to grips with Nuendo.

Another thing, I've noticed that if there is any DC offset on the audio file in question, stuff likes it causes clicks. To be sure, highlight the audio event, then go to Audio -> Statistics and see if it shows any DC offset.
