a grin , a nod , cheers, and a beer for the band. Been a long time since I heard anybody pull that one off right.. Yall did very well. :)

sounds very good!!

well played all round.

the only critizism(constructive of course) is that it could have been faster. it sort of felt like it wanted to speed up but it didnt. it left me hanging on the edge of my seat if you know what i mean.

and also the snare could have used something. softening, volume cut???

anyway cool tune

keep it up.

peace

GREAT !!!!!

This brings back memories !!

A great rendition.......... A classic cover.
I have the first vamp, there are a ton of sounds in there and you will find alot of stuff to mess with! I haven't turned my Fender amp on for 6 months.

Really enjoyable Tom.

Great cover. Did you intentionally do the .wma at 96kbs? The high end is getting crunched and shimmered. Juice that sucker up.

nice work!

I like it,

I also have a Vamp2 - great little things.

I rekn the voice does sound a little too distant.

A piano would make this even better - but of course thats obviously not possible or u woulda done it......right???

all in all, liked it - LOVE beatles - you cant go wrong - unless you KILL it - which u didnt.
Well done

Thanks all!
I remixed the remix, trying to address a few concerns you guys raised (drum levels, verb, vox etc).I really appreciate all the sonic tips for improvement.

Sorry Tex
Limited space on my free server at artistcollaboration.com has me trying to keep the file sizes down.At least I'm not streaming them anymore. Those 32 kbps suckers used to warble like a bird, talk about swirly highs...

I hear the need for keys also.Mebbe I can shoehorn some in.

I like it Tom, you did a fine job. I listened to the first two, and I liked the first one better. I think it was because of the ambience. I'll check the third version. I like that kind of vocals, reminds me of Ric Ocasek and David Byrne, playful articulations.

BTW, to all mac users: beside using a Quicktime codec for .wma files, you can also play them with the free Microsoft Windows Media Player.

That is if you dare to install it in you mac.

Cheers, Andrés
