my little fender champion 110 amp, has an external speaker outlet on the front of it.
just want to know what i can use this for, i know it sounds obvious, but when i put a cord from there and into my 4 track or PA system, it sounds really trebley and buuzzy. that is when there is distortion on it.
also, anyone know what exactly you need in order to play through a cabinet?? do u really need the head, or could you just use an amp and run a cord form external speaker to it. or run it from a pod?
thanks again.

) and a power amp. You could plug a cabinet into your speaker out of your amp, although it will only sound as good as your amp sounds.

The head is actually a guitar pre amp and a power amp. To run a cabinet from a pod you need a power amp in between them.
