external mixer

Hey all,

I am planning on getting the M-Audio Delta 44 card but I also want to have an external mixer ( I'm going with the eurorack series). Is the 44 worth getting if im not going to be using the breakout box? (wont I b e able to go through the mixer)? Is there more benefits than multiple outs?

...sure. It is a lot better MUSICIANS audio card than GAMERS audio card... Cleaner & low latency...

I should have said that I was deciding between the Audiophile 2496 and the DElta 44. I am going to use an external mixer so i wonder if I will need the extra connections the 44 has to offer? Can the Audiophile record 2 tracks at once? Are theyy're any other differences?
