I am doing some recording of a live show. The mixer at the event is a 32 channel Behringer POS. It doesn't have direct outs per se, but it does have channel inserts on all of the mono channels.

I can use (according to the manual) patch cords with bridged trs at one end and plain 1/4" at the other. I will need at least 6 of these things, and I would rather not solder my own.

Has anyone heard of a commercial product like this, or should I get out the soldering iron?

"Ordinarily, the insert jack 'steals' the individual channel’s signal for outboard processing. But the DOC-106’s clever wiring provides a direct output while allowing signal to continue through the console too. Works on any mixer that has conventionally-wired insert jacks (Tip = Send, Ring = Return)."

HTH,
Don
