The double post notwithstanding... that was jaw-dropping. Out of the first lot, the mic that sounded the most like what I'd expect an acoustic guitar to sound like was the $50 Behringer!!!
This is why I should never attempt to listen to these samples with ear buds.
Oh, and MP3 sucks. Serious flanging artifacts on a bunch of the tracks made it impossible to get a good feel for the last four mics on the first lot and a couple of others.
Otherwise, looks like a cool site. Needless to say, I won't be going out and buying a Behringer mic after this, but....
