Has anyone heard of an acoustic guitar manufacturer called "CL"? The logo has the "C" set higher than the "L" and overlapped.

I ask as I may be able to get hold of a cheap, bowl-backed (Ovation-style) model VERY cheaply. They're Italian, allegedly.

Thanks

Phil

There are a lot of guitar companies that use "CL" as part of their model #'s but I am not able to find a manufacturer by that name...
Do you have any other information on them?

I think I saw those at Guitar Center, the logo does look a little like G & L's. As I remember, they have very low price tags; made in china or indonesia maybe?

This isn't going to be of any help whatsoever. :)

But the overlapping CL (with the C slightly raised) is used as a symbol in engineering to denote centreline (or centerline if you prefer).

So, unless there are any guitar manufacturers out there called CenterLine, this informastion is completely superfluous :D

And after those messages it's now back AutoCAD...

Thanks for the input, chaps. The item in question has now been sold, but it did indeed look like a copy of the GL logo.
