Event 20/20 ... resonant freqs?

I just noticed this today, as I'm setting up to record bass. I can hear the woofers flap/vibrate a little bit. I've checked it in headphones and it's defintely the monitors. I can also hear it no matter what volume I have the monitors set at (although it's *much* lower at quieter volumes). I think I have them pretty well isolated from the stands, etc. I think this resonance/flap/whatever is coming from the actual woofer, itself. More pronounced on note "F" (both low and high) which makes me think it's a resonant frequency. I've never noticed this when mixing, so maybe I'm being too critical here. It's not *bad* sounding but you definitely notice it when playing solo bass, especially holding out notes.
I'm wondering if I'm just hearing a limitation in the speaker design ... or if something bad happened?
Anyone with 20/20's experience anything like this with their monitors?
Thanks...

Hey BK,

Yes, I've noticed that on mine as well when I record bass and monitor live through them. I don't notice it mixing either (unless I crank the bass way up). Kinda of a quiet/low 'flutter' sound.

yes! Exactly! ...
I don't feel so bad now ... I wonder what is causing it, though ... and if it's just something natural w speakers that I never really noticed before.

Same here...when playing bass live through them, but while mixing I dont here much if any unless I crank them pretty hard.
