Ehhh. I couldn't come up with a good title sorry. It does kinda remind me of latino music and all that. How is the mix? There is something wrong with the lead but I can't point out. Any suggestions are cool. Insult me and make fun too. ;)

Is your linking tool busted too?
Make life easier for this old fuddy duddy please.

Good arranging. The tone of the rhythm and lead guitars is kind of similar but the parts are different enough that they don't interfere with each other. The entrance of the bass gtr at :16 is cool. The tambourine tone sounds artificial since it stands out so much. A real tambourine would add a lot of personality. Overall, nice job on this... with a couple lead guitar line edits and a little tighter rhythm in the backing guitars the tune would be perfect IMO.

I like it. cool Spanish groove going on. The rythm is a little off at times, but all in all, it's got that Espanol feel to it.

Very cool tune. The problem with lead is incorrect playing in some places.
There is one weird note in the bass line too.
Rhythm needs to be more firm. The tambourine should move back a little bit.
I'm looking forward to hear finale version.

Yea the solo was improvised but that's not it. There something in it that I don't like. I want that Santana feel but it sounds sooo I'm not sure how to call it. I hate it when things aren't explanable.

What do you suggest when recording leads?

Maybe you should take a look at dynamics. Lead part is loud all the way.
Or you could (maybe) record two different leads and experiment with panning.
Or both!
This tune is going to be very nice.
I am not sure what exactly do you want but you must be patient.
Begin to correct things one by one and listen.
It will suddenly pop up.

What do you mean dynamics? And what do you mean the rythmn needs to be more firm.

Some good ideas to work with. there are some hesitations in the intro with the L guitar.
The bass is struggling but is almost right it - fits really well in the outro.
Polish this one with some quiet passages in the solo.
11 isn't always the best volume setting.

It's in the phrasing. To play lyrical improvised lines, sing what you play as you play it. Switch up a lot with the rhythmic shapes you use, and where you start and stop phrases in relation to the bar line.

A good way to track improvised solos is to loop the backing track and record the lead line several times without stopping, then use the best sounding phrases from each take to make a final version.
