I have just installed auto tune but don't know how to access it on my computer. I look for it in the programs menue and it has autotune, then on the submenu it has 'register' , 'unregister' and a 'docs' button, but nothing that actually opens the program? How do I run this friggin thing?

If it's Antares Autotune ..... you will select it as a plugin in your host sequencing program. Provided your program supports the format Autotune is in DX or VST.

I'm sure the documentation explains this. How were you planning on using it without a sequencer?

I know what you mean and it's a fair question but before things really get tangled up....Autotune is an audio plug-in not a midi plug-in.

The question would more appropriately be.... How were you planning on using it without a host recording application? I only make the distinction so things don't get totally confusing.

So.......How "were" you planning on using it without a host recording application?

I have cool edit pro installed on my computer, I guess that is my, 'host recording program'. Do I have to access it through CEP? Do I need another program? When i run CEP I can't see anything different...

?
Sorry, the other boards that I hang out at call cubase, Nuendo, protools, etc... sequencers to differentiate from DAWs like the roland 2480. I forgot where I was.

Did you install it as a DX plugin or a VST plugin? Are you telling me that you payed $300 for something you didn't know how to use?

I'm pretty sure it'll just show up in the list of available plugins/effects. try again, if not, install again, if not still, email them! ha.
