hey, im currently going to school for recording arts and technology, and in my live sound class, we very BRIEFLY went over grounds and ground loops. I understood some of it, but how do I know if my equipment is grounded properly??

thanx

3-prong plugs....
And check the manuals. The front of most of them go over grounding and what-not.

If you don't hear any hum, and you don't get electrocuted when you touch the front panel, it's probably ok! :p

Umm...not to be a jerk, but how much are you paying these people to briefly go over very important technical subjects which you end up not understanding?
