Equipment for Recording voice overs for videos -

I am a newbie to recording audio on my computer. Quite simply, all I need is equipment / software capable of recording a voice over for videos I make using my home computer. I know I will need a sound card, mixer, and a decent mic.

I am looking for info / advice on the following:

Which low-priced mixer would you suggest I use?

What microphone would be suitable for doing voice-overs?

Does it really matter which sound card? I have found some for under $30 that seem like they would be fine for what I'm looking to do.

a good low price mixer would be a mackie 1202 vlz

and a great peice of software for video editing is Vegas Video

For what you're doing, I guess you could use a SB Live, but background noise is much less with Something like the M-Audio Audiophile 2496.

I would recommend running the mic into a preamp and then run that into the Line-in of the card rather than the Mic input if you are going the Sound Blaster route. If you choose the Audiophile, you will definetly need the preamp as it only has RCA line level inputs.
