Do you...

A. Tweak the patch with those knobs on the front of the box....


B. Find another patch....


C. Just throw it in there it's MIDI you can change the patch later...


D. Find the right patch in the first place...


E. Just EQ the damned thing already...

D...and then C....and then B..... and then B.....and then E. I find that it is always important to at least start with a patch that you can handle mixing with in the end. The sound of the patch can often change how a track is played.
