EQ AND EFFECTS in Acid?

Just wondering if its possible to do more "tweaking" in ACID - I have ACID MUSIC 1.0 wich is pretty old - I want to record acoustic guitar along with loops in real time, then add fx and eq -

should I get ACID pro? vegas audio?

Can you tweak and effect?

Yes. Acid Pro comes with effects (the XFX 1 and XFX 2 packages, I believe.)

They are DirectX effects. You can use any DX effects in Acid.

I can speak for Vegas Video 3 also - yes, same deal.

There are other products that can do what you need - but it sounds like you are familiar with Sonic Foundry stuff - I would recommend Acid Pro - it comes with Sound Forge XP and Vegas LE also (for more recording and tweaking pleasure).
