So here's my question. I bought a pair of SD PhatCat P90s to drop into an Epiphone LP.
The attached diagram shows the top of the pickups facing upwards, while the ass end of the pots are facing upwards.
Note that the wires (2) coming from the pickup go to the right, The rout for the wires in the guitar cavity are on the left. I might have an issue with length.
My question is: Does the North/South orientation of the pickups matter AS LONG as the are constant (both wires to the left, or both wires to the right?
The neck pup is a RW/RP.
I don't think it matters as long as both are equal. Anyone have an opinion?
