hey guys, i need to envelope in Logic audio, just like i could so easily do in Acid. Could you please tell me how to do? I could envelope fx and volume and just move that little line and it would change the volume non destructevly. Could someone please help me quick! I want to get these fades in for tomorrow!

hmm

help me now, please. Im just sitting here with logic open, waiting for someone to respond, so i can do it.

aarg!

what the christ! people have responded to every message accept for mine!! several times!!! HELP ME PLEASE!

Sorry dude. Dont take it personally. Logic is the toughest program to work with. Apparently nobody knows.

I'd be interested in the answer myself.

Damn ambi,

Take a pill dude. Breathe. First of all you are all the way on the ass side of the world so who knows if anyone is even awake reading your post. plus... I have owned Logic Audio Platinum for 2 years and have never heard of enveloping. So I haven't a clue what you are talking about.

Are you using Logic 5 Ambi? If not, you are pretty much out of luck. Logic (until version 5) has seriously lacked in the automation department. If are using Logic 5, go to the view menu while in the arrange window and select Track Automation. The tracks will become like 3 times bigger in the arrange window, and on the left side where the track MUTE/SOLO buttons are, there will be 3 new boxs. The first one will be where you can select which, envelope/MIDI CC value you want to automate. Below that on the left is a box marked off (by Default), click on this to view the 5 realtime automation controls (Touch, latch etc.) and next to this box is the value box for the selected envelope. Oh and the little arrow next to the Realtime automation selection box, will allow you to display the selected envelope for the next track down as well (Real handy for setting up pan and volume changes real quickly for multiple tracks).

hmm

yea i have logic 5. ok cool i'll try that out, im on a break from work at the moment, but i will later.
thanks.
