Forgot to ask... what type of camera did you get? I've been thinking about getting another one, but it doesn't need to be an expensive pro job. Cheap handhelds are getting more rare since everyone is using their I-phones these day.
iPhone doesn't work with the camera app if you want to use multicam. The iPhone uses a variable frame rate which is a disaster to sync (impossible). Unless you use an app that uses a fixed frame rate.
We use 4k Sony cameras for our normal video work and wanted something that performed great in low light, could shoot DLOG and was portable.
We already used an osmo pocket 1 for BTS videos and bought the v3 recently. In fact this video was the first time we tested it next to the osmo 1. You can clearly see the difference.
If you want something that shoots great footage in DLOG with some nice features like hyperlapse, follow subject etc i can highly recommend the pocket 3.
The only real disadvantage is that it's a pretty wide angle setup. You can zoom 2x but in essence it's wide. I tried to find some extra lens options but at the moment it's all more wide.
If you can life with that, get one
