This is my first post so please be gentle !
OK I have recorded my bands song and mixed it down to a wave and encoded it to 128 bit MP3 CD standard, it sounds sweet and importantly I can hear their wonderful rap voices. Now what I want to do is show the world what a great band they are so off I trott with my MP3 to vitaminic and upload my track. Trouble is when you play it back as 24 bit Real media audio stream it sounds crap and worst of all the raps are vitually not there at all just a little distorted whisper of them just now and again.
I first noticed I had a problem when I burned the original wav file to CD and it played great on my stereo system but on other systems you could not hear the Rap voices ??
Am I missing something here ?
It all raises the question is it in my mix ? and anyway how do you control what can be heard when streaming in lo-fi as other artists seem to get reasonable results with lo-fi streaming audio.
cheers
