Hey Everyone,

I opened up my Musican's Friend Magazine and say the new E-Mu 1820. Looks awesome. 18 ins, 20 outs, MIDI.

The music that I make is electronica (so I work with drum machines, keyboards, etc via MIDI.), and plan to put in some live vocals and guitars.

How is the MIDI latency through ASIO? Is it pretty low? How does everyone like this card so far? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why would you need multiple inputs then? Sounds like you would build your songs one track at a time by the way you're talking.

Actually there are going to be times when I'll be recording at least two things at once: Vocals and Guitar, Drum Machine and Synth.

I personally love it. Using it with Sonar 3.1.1 on a i845/P4. 4 ms latency with vsampler aplenty...
