I installed the emu 1820 the other day and cant get any sounds out of my monitors. My monitors are Audix powered with only one stereo plug that slaves the other. There is an rca to 1/8 inch plug that go from the monitors to the guitar port, then from there it goes to the back of my computer and the usb port.I asked the guys at guitar center and they said to go from the monitors out of the audio dock to the rca jacks in on the powerd monitor that way the monitors are still connected. Doing so eliminates the connection to my guitar port. so I did it any way and still nothing out of the monitors. The good thing is that I am getting a signal on the interface when I speak into it and on the patchmix and on the cubase mixingboard. Im so close but yet so far away. I know its easier that this ! another thing that pissed me off is that the next day I wanted to look at the manual again and it said that It couldnt perform that procedure, that I had to go to the control panel and make up a new folder, so I did but now its know longer in adobe but a bunch of #$%^#$^% shit like this , so i went to the website and tried to download another manual but it still didnt put it in adobe . i still have adobe installed on my computer. any ideas? anyone Beuller? anyone........................
