emu 1212 adat problem

Have you gone into PatchMix's Session Settings for I/O and selected ADAT for the optical input?
And, have you added the ADAT In's mixer strips to the PatchMix DSP Mixer?
 
all the channels from teh ada work fine and i can get a signal in with that patchmix software. But, what i can't do is get sonar to make those my inputs, it wan'ts to use this...::e-dsp Audio Processor (wdm) 1in, 4 out::, and that only gives me the xlr's on the back of the crad, but to answer your question. yes adat is my optical in and yes i have all the strips in.
 
Do you have ASIO drivers for the Emu and have you tried using them in Sonar?

In all honesty, I'm just taking stabs in the dark here as I don't have an Emu nor do I have Sonar.

Seeing as how PatchMix can see the ADA, it must just be an audio device setup deal within Sonar that needs to be figured out. Be it the drivers you use and/or setting up the session in PatchMix.

Hope you get it figured out or, at least, someone comes along and knows exactly what you need to do.
