EMU 0404 configuration

I just installed and setup an EMU 0404 on my computer and soundcard DSP software shows that audio is coming in and out of the computer OK. But in Adobe Audition when I try to record, I'm not getting any signal even though the device setting is set to my EMU soundcard. Does anyone know how I can get this soundcard to work with any program, especially Adobe Audition?
 
I don't know much about the E-mu cards, but I do know that you need to read up on and have a good understanding of using patch mix DSP and setting up sessions for the audio routing.
 
This is true. Tell us about your hw config and how you have your PatchMix session configured, then maybe we can help.

ok. thanks in advance. I'm using and AMD Athlon with Adobe Audition as my main recording program. I'm using a Behringer Eurorack UB1622FX Pro Mixer. The output of the soundcard is connected to the tape input of my mixer and the AUX SEND of my mixer is going to the input on my soundcard. From the default settings I chose the 44.1 Default Multitrack setting for the PatchMix DSP Program. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
