I was just told that Event has discontinued the EMP-1 microphone pre-amp and was wondering if this was,
a] true
b] complete misinformation
c] a situation similar to the Darla/Gina /Layla change of distributorship, or:
d] none of the above

Answer from their website was: "b" but that page hasn't been updated since May 1999.

I emailed Event a few months back, wondering the same thing. They don't make them anymore, nor have any back supply. I suggest you look in the usual used equipment places for one.

I was very interested in one, though have never used it.
