In the room I 'work' - I noticed that on my work place I have a huge 120 Hz resonance which makes my mixing very difficult (also listening is very tiring due to this).
Here is the case - I've got two minitors set on my desk on sitting on two pads (height adjustments).
If I move back from monitors - resonance is gone.
My best guess is that resonance is coming from floor to ceiling. Unfortunately floor is a stone type
Might it be that the desk is resonating as well (columns of drawers on each side of desk under desktop).
How can I reduce this resonance effect ? put anything on floor ? on ceiling ?
I rent the apartment - so no permanent rebuild is possible.
