Electro-Harmonix 12AY7 Tube Microphone Preamp

anyone know anything about this and how it would compare sound wise to teh dmp3...I am going to get one or the other....am going to be recording roots and blues music acoustically, using sonar producer 4 as far as mics go I am not sure either I am thinking the v67g cause its suppsosed to be good for lots of stuff and I am going for a warm and almost flattering (to a degree) sound. I may also get a shure green bullet for some nasty blues vocals and for some harmonica stuff....help a brotha out

I'm a fan. Love it. A great all-rounder. It's a balanced piece of gear - make sure your soundcard has balanced inputs. It's my favorite pre out of the three I've owned: FMR RNP, Mackie 1202 VLZ.
